According to the MOE, registration dates will commence from June 29 (Phase 1) and end on Aug 28 (Phase 3).
The announcement of the results will be rolled out accordingly from July 7 to Nov 30.
Children born between Jan 2, 2011, and Jan 1, 2012 have to be registered in order to be admitted to primary school in January 2018. Under the Compulsory Education Act, Singapore Citizens born after Jan 1, 1996 and residing in Singapore are required to attend national primary schools regularly.
Registration for each phase is conducted at the respective primary schools, except for Phase 2C and Phase 2C Supplementary, which can be done online on selected dates.
The hours of registration at schools are from 8am to 11am and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on each scheduled registration day, said the ministry on its website.
Parents must produce the originals of each required document at the time of registration.
