Course: Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level
Overview
This ‘O’ Level Examinations are Secondary School graduating Examinations jointly held by the Ministry of Education Singapore in conjunction with the University of Cambridge of Local Examinations Syndicate. The Singapore-Cambridge “O” Level Certificate is universally recognized particularly in Commonwealth Countries and the US.
Pathway Progression
- Direct entry to any of the 5 Government Polytechnics {Singapore, Nanyang, Ngee Ann, Temasek, Republic Polytechnics}
- Pursue in any of the local Junior College {2-3 years}, namely the “A” Level Course {equivalent to matriculation preparatory courses}.
- To pursue a diploma in any post-secondary institutions or the Institute of Technical Education.

Entry Requirements
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS | • Minimum Age: Applicants must be 15 years of age as of 1st January of GCE ‘O’ level examinations year • Academic Level: To complete minimum Year 9 or equivalent with a pass in English subject in applicant’s country of origin; or equivalent qualification required by MOE, Singapore • Language Proficiency: Student will be given a ‘O’ Level Placement Test to determine their level of English |
